Founded in 1937 in St. Malo, with 29 members and $96.85 in assets, Caisse Financial Group was the first official financial cooperative in Manitoba. Since then, we've grown into a full-service financial institution, with over $1 billion in assets, 19 service centers in Manitoba and more than 35,000 members. Our mission is to meet the changing financial needs of our members and to engage with our communities. Each year, the Caisse supports various projects, initiatives, school bursaries and community activities, and the annual amount is normally between $180,000 and $200,000. Caisse Financial Group is a bilingual financial cooperative that prioritizes its members' experience and is committed to the well-being of its communities. We've come a long way since we started out, but our values haven't changed. For us, every member is important. Since 2013, Caisse Financial Group has been working with the Economic Development Council for Bilingual Municipalities of Manitoba and Junior Achievement Manitoba to ensure the availability of financial literacy resources in Manitoba's French, English and Immersion schools. Presentations on the program "Au courant de l'argent" are given free of charge by Caisse Financial Group and CDEM employees trained in finance and entrepreneurship.

Free accounts for people aged 60 and over. Free youth accounts with a monthly draw of $50 for ages 5 to 12 and $100 for ages 13 to 18 Free student accounts (up to 26th birthday) with a $500 draw every three months. Caisse offers its services to members with a focus on financial well-being. When members speak with a financial advisor, they are there to provide them with all the financial tools/information they need to ensure their financial well-being, whatever their stage of life.
