De Salaberry District Health Centre Foundation Inc.

The Foundation indirectly helps all users of the services provided at the De Salaberry District Health Centre by contributing financially to projects and initiatives designed to improve the offer and/or the quality of healthcare in the Centre. For example, the Foundation finances activities organized for the Repos-Jolys PCH residents.

The Foundation contributes financially to initiatives and projects designed to improve the offer and/or the quality of healthcare provided to those who utilize or benefit from the programs and services at the De Salaberry District Health Centre (St-Pierre-Jolys Hospital and Repos-Jolys PCH). See the list in next session to get an idea of the support given by the Foundation. The Foundation can provide such financial support thanks to the fund-raising activities that it organizes and to the donations it receives.

VARIOUS THINGS FINANCED BY THE FOUNDATION OVER THE YEARS The chapel at the Repos-Jolys Personal Care Home; Five examination tables for the medical clinic; Sunroom for the St. Pierre-Jolys Hospital; Gazebo with deck, railing and furniture at Repos-Jolys PCH; Two examination tables for Emergency Rooms; Geriatric bed; Three armchairs and two recliners; Comfortable chairs for Repos-Jolys rooms; Two special recliner chairs; Medi-lifter with harness to raise patients; Bladder scanner; Vein finder; Air mattress designed to alleviate pain; Tonometer (for ocular pressure measurements); Mural on doors between hospital and Repos-Jolys; Large-screen television for Repos-Jolys residents; Lift machine (sit-to-stand type) & lift extensions; Baskets with various items for hospital patients.
